An old bottle of triple distilled Auchentoshan Select from 1990’s, before they moved to their flat bottle presentation.
Auchentoshan Single Malt has been produces in Dalmuir, Glasgow since 1823. This selected oak cask matured whisky is unique as most other whisky makers distilled their whisky twice, whilst Auchentoshan continues the tradition of triple distillation.
The name Auchentoshan is Gaelic for “the field of the corner”, the distillery is also known as ‘Glasgow’s Malt Whisky’ due to its close proximity to Glasgow. It is also known as ‘the breakfast whisky’ for its sweet and delicate nature.
