Terms of Use for Sellers on Glenbotal
Payment Processing for Successful Sales:
Payments to sellers are contingent on the buyer’s completion of payment and satisfaction with the product, aligning with our description
Payments are processed within 21 days following the conclusion of a proof of delivery of goods
In the event of a dispute regarding the provenance or authenticity of a bottle, and if it is determined to be non-genuine, the bottle will be returned to the seller, and no payment for the sale will be issued. The seller will be responsible for covering the costs of both the return shipping and platform service fees associated with the transaction. These costs will be deducted from the seller
s balance on the platform. If the seller’s balance is insufficient to cover these costs, the platform will temporarily hold the seller
s other listed lots as collateral until the outstanding payment is settled. This measure is to secure the due payment, and the seller will be promptly informed and allowed to resolve the payment issue. Once the payment is settled, either through additional funds or sales proceeds, the collateral lots will be released for standard selling activities. This approach ensures the integrity of the platform process and the authenticity of items sold on the platform.
Commission and Fees:
Sellers incur a commission rate of 12% on the selling price.
Payment Methods:
Payments will be made by Bank Transfer
International transfers may attract an extra fee, deducted from the seller’s payment.
Payments default to the GBP unless otherwise requested.
Bank Details and Currency Fluctuations:
We are not responsible for losses due to incorrect bank details provided by the seller or currency fluctuations.
Sellers must ensure their bank details are accurate in Glenbotal, with two-factor authentication enabled for changes.
Restrictions of Sale
We reserve the right to refuse items, particularly those with authenticity concerns.
Seller Cancellation Policy
Sellers have the right to cancel a lot at any point as long as the lot is currently in stock and has not yet been sold to a buyer.
Collection or shipping of canceled items is the seller’s responsibility, including insurance coverage for transit.
